how to Enable Check digit EAN13 Honeywell EDA50

QUESTION/PROBLEM

How to enable the check digit for EAN13 Symbology on an EDA50 Android /  Handheld Mobile Computer.

• ScanPal EDA50
• Honeywell EDA50

RESOLUTION

    1.Navigate to 'Settings'>'Scanning'>'Internal Scanner'>'Default Profile'>'Symbology Settings'.

    2.Tap on EAN13. 
    3.Then tap to check the 'Send check digit' box.

NOTE: There isn't a Save option so just back out until you get back to the main/home screen. Verify that the Check Digit transmits.
