RESOLUTION

The below steps will explain how to perform a Factory Reset on a Dolphin 7800 and 60s devices:

1. Press and hold "Blue" and "Call" buttons to cold boot the Dolphin.
2. Upon cold boot, when the display returns, type: 127*
3. A little menu will appear showing the reset options. Choose the top option by pressing the number '1' on the keypad.
4. A prompt will appear asking for confirmation. Press the 'ENTER' key on the keypad to proceed or the 'ESC' key to cancel.

NOTE: A factory reset on this device will do the following:

• Shut down the Operating System (OS).
• Delete the contents of the User Store: This affects all data and files saved on the device, outside the '\IPSM' folder.
• Launch the OS and re-initialize the device. This will copy the contents of the '\IPSM\Honeywell' folder into the local '\Honeywell' folder in the User Store.
• If the Dolphin utilities were saved in the '\IPSM\Honeywell' folder, these will be executed and installed, along with any custom cab files if saved in the '\IPSM\Honeywell\AutoInstall' folder.
• The Dolphin will perform a warm-boot if the Dolphin utilities were loaded.
• If the Dolphin utilities were saved with any custom configurations in the '\IPSM\Honeywell' folder, or a registry file was saved in the '\IPSM\Honeywell\AutoInstall' folder, then these settings will be reloaded as well.

Therefore, the only way to perform a clean factory reset is to ensure that the '\IPSM\Honeywell' contents are factory files, not custom files. Honeywell recommends replacing the device '\IPSM\Honeywell' files with factory files if there is any doubt.
